Ed3Weekly: Issue #4 of Web3🤝Education
Aloha mai and welcome to Issue #4 of my weekly newsletter of all things education and web3. Update, I've decided to switch to a Monday release of the newsletter. This will give you all week to dig into the resources I am sharing. The focus of this issue is all about learning in web3. I know that in some way every issue is about learning, but this past week I happened to come across a bunch of resources that would be valuable additions to anyone's web3 library.
The best part about curating this newsletter is that it forces me to seek out and save resources that I think are sharable. This past week I came across some good stuff that I am excited to share with you. I considered bookmarking some of what I am sharing and saving it for a future newsletter, but I want this to be a real-time reflection of what I am consuming.
Please enjoy the issue. Again your likes, Tweets, and Retweets really help spread the news about this newsletter. If you have any interesting web3 articles, news, or events feel free to share in my DMs, I am always looking to learn more about what is going out there!
Learning in Ed3
Many of the resources I share are intended for educators, but let's not forget our young learners as well. And since we are all learning in this space I consider myself a learner as well. The two videos linked below are clearly meant for a school age audience though. I am very impressed with the level of information and the way it is delivered. If you are introducing web3 concepts in your classroom I recommended considering the use of the two videos linked below.

What are NFTs? | Blue Studios Streaming | Learn2Earn — live.bluestudios.io What are NFTs? Learn with Mia in the STEM Kids Clubhouse!
Now something for us adult learners. Here's my primer: You might want to bookmark the link below. There are a number of resources linked that will be helpful for the web3 educator. I am still sorting through it all myself and may circle back to this resource in more detail in a future newsletter.

Tweets
Since we're on the topic of educating ourselves on all things web3, I found this thread particularly useful. @MishadaVinci takes you through all the basic terms you will need to be able to understand web3 talk.
I am continually impressed with the work and outreach by Vriti Saraf to increase awareness of all things ed3. Love seeing the work to spread actual engagement with districts and school leaders. This isn't about imagining the future, this is about buidling it.
As web3edu grows and expands I appreciate this Tweet that lays out a map of the landscape. I look forward to seeing this map continue to get bigger and bigger as more are onboarded into this space.
Events
Gitcoin has emerged as a leader in the web3 space. This sounds like a great free event to learn more about what they're up to:
"Kevin Owocki, CEO and Founder of Gitcoin, will speak with us about building the future of open source on web3, how web3 can redesign the labor market, and create a thriving global citizenry."
