Each week I aim to gather a variety of resources on web3, blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies. Lately, though it is a challenge to find new ideas outside of AI.
If you follow discussions on educational transformations on LinkedIn it might seem that AI is the only game in town.
This is what inspired my recent post:
The discrepancy in coverage, often algorithmically generated by the user’s specific data, is part of what inspired this newsletter.
I try to find a variety of news and breakthroughs across the web3 spectrum, from blockchain, metaverse, virtual reality, or NFTs. But let’s not ignore the elephant in the room. AI is THE thing right now.
This week we have some resources that might help you break out of the algo-generated AI rut. AI thought leader Leon Furze gets us to think about generative AI outside of basic use cases. The Ed3 DAO, in which I am the community engagement lead, announced a series of forums for educators in the Indian sub-continent.
I also include a nice story from a school in Connecticut using VR in the classroom. Finally, an education researcher shares about some innovations to be on the lookout for in 2024.
