This school year has shown us that the advancement of AI in our schools is happening right before us.
The past 30 years have felt completely revolutionary as we have witnessed classrooms evolve from traditional chalkboards to smart boards, and now, to intelligent systems that tailor learning experiences for every student.
As this digital transformation unfolds, we are now seeing its reach extend beyond schools and right up to the steps of our nation's capitol. The challenge now lies in ensuring that government regulations not only keep pace but also foster this blossoming innovation.
My concern is that if they lag behind or are improperly calibrated, there's a real risk of stifling the very advancements that promise to redefine the future of education.
Dive into this issue to explore the intersections of AI, education, and policy, and discover what the future might hold if all stakeholders collaborate effectively.
Advocacy, Innovation, and Education

During a recent event in Washington D.C., founders from the crypto and Web3 community, including educator Mike Peck from Ed3 DAO, met with lawmakers to discuss the evolving crypto landscape.
This article from Peck outlines three key insights that emerged:
Advocacy is essential as many legislators are unfamiliar with web3's potential and challenges
The discussions around web3 aren't politically charged but focus on enabling innovation and ensuring America leads the digital revolution
Education is vital. Effective communication, free from jargon, will make web3 concepts more accessible.
With potential regulations looming, the importance of advocacy and education cannot be understated, especially if we want a future where education and technology synergize to create broader opportunities. The way we regulate crypto will undoubtedly influence the trajectory of educational advancements in the digital age.
