Ed3 Weekly Issue #124: Are You Crypto-Curious?
New applications in the tokenized internet continues crypto's appeal
Hello Ed3 Community,
Meme-coin mania is here. I was reading a recent financial article about Gen Z investing habits In it a young professional was lamenting that he’s a rather conservative investor. For his asset allocation, he’s sticking to Bitcoin and Ethereum avoiding the riskier “sh*t” coins.
Reading this made me wonder if crypto interest is broadening by these tales of making it big in these lesser-known investments.
Evidence is growing that something is happening. As I scan the web3 and education new wire I am coming across more and more resources touting the integration of tokenization into the education industry.
This is part of what makes these weekly newsletters so exciting. I get a pulse of what is out there and then share it with all of you.
It was a pleasant experience to see the variety of applications and announcements being made.
A global app developer from India, Appinventiv, recently shared how blockchain is changing education. News broke about Argentinia developing an Ethereum curriculum for high school. And we are hearing that reforms in Japan are helping to support an emerging web3 ecosystem there.
News about "making it big" in risky crypto investments might grab the headlines, but it's announcements like these that contribute to growing mainstream interest in crypto applications in education.
