Ed3 Weekly Issue #119: Use It or Lose It
It's time for web3 applications to be implemented across education
Hello Ed3 Community,
Each week I set out on an adventure to discover news on the converging world of web3 and education. Typically I scan my social media platforms and bookmark interesting topics or articles others post.
Sometimes I use Google News to see what’s trending in blockchain, crypto, or the metaverse. The newsletter is now over two years old so I am always fascinated by what pops up.
AI is all the rage right now, but I am pleasantly surprised by the number of web3 projects that are being built that focus on education.
The resources for this week reflect the most up-to-date work in the world of blockchain-enabled education. I also regularly feature what I think are the more interesting ideas in AI.
While AI isn’t currently tied to web3 technology I believe that it must be in the future. By focusing on trends in the best AI pedagogy I hope to open up educators’ eyes to how this relationship will unfold.
Enjoy the resources this week! Don't forget to check out the Ed3 Weekly podcast on Spotify where I share my thoughts on each issue.
